It's hideous! It reminds me of the Obama painting. I wish I could remember how to post images.

Ah it's probably appropriate for these times we live in.

Truly the “Bloody English Monarchs”.
The Elites across the World are in this Cabal. And they all act like that worship Satan Himself.
I do not think it is an accident.

The face is well done, but the background is hideous.

Wow!
An incredibly bad painting.
Looks like the fires of hell surrounding him.

Hints at his Satanic leanings but not too obnoxious to offend the extended family.

The King’s Red Portrait fills me with dread, but it beats that tribute sculpture to MLK, the big brass one which looks like something holding a giant male organ.

If possible, it's even worse than the 2001 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Lucian Freud:

Brits have the same taste in contemporary art as they do in traditional English cooking.

You would think that, if you had a $300 million fortune, that we know about and probably much more that we don’t know about, you could afford somebody with talent.

Why do so many heads of state, etc pay for ugly impressionistic portraits of themselves instead of something that looks like they are real people in a real setting? Do they think that kind of “art” is cool? I’m no art expert, but I do know s*** on a canvas when I see it-king Chuck should demand his money back-get another portrait done by an artist who knows how to make the customer look good in the real world...

.... this is one of the most hideous, ugliest painting I’ve ever seen!

Winston, painted in 1954. He hated and burned it.

I think the background is poppies, the British symbol of remembrance for soldiers who died in war.
And of course he is wearing his “redcoat” uniform.
