It’s one thing to use a wisecrack to make a point, à la Trump, but the use of off the wall verbiage with a meaning known only to the speaker, can be pathological; I forget the psychological meaning, but it denotes mental instability.

Which suggest he has always been an a- hole..even before he had dementia.
You know back when he was just plain stupid.
