This revelation was made in a 2012 deposition related to his divorce proceedings. Apparently, he used this in his divorce deposition to try to get a better deal.
That wife committed suicide.
"On May 12, 2010, Kennedy filed for divorce from Mary. On May 16, 2012, Mary was found dead in a building on the grounds of her home in Bedford, New York. The Westchester County Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide due to asphyxiation from hanging. Later it was reported that Mary had seen Kennedy's personal journal from 2001, in which he recorded sexual encounters with 37 different women."
I never thought the man was presidential material...

My first thought was, did he have cats?
Toxoplasma is a common 'cat parasite' that alters behavior and supposedly can get into the brain.
