Making governments into drug cartels is supposed to be an antidote to nanny statism? You are on the same side as George Soros because of his benevolent economic policies?
That’s what George Soros says.
Free healthcare with sponsored by legalizing marijuana.
It produces extreme addicts that are as bad as any cult out there. They’ll just say ‘well it doesn’t kill you like fentanyl’. But most opiate users at least know there is a problem.
The pothead will waste their entire lives as slaves to the drug and only a very few pull out of the zombie-like stake.
Is society or America better off after the spread of its use? The potheads said crime, usage, and so on would go down. Things would be better!!
And, of course, like any leftwing policy things have gone to @#%#
If it was so great then why didn’t Obama do it?
” Weed ruins people. See it every day. “
We have Regimes across the West who are promoting dope, porn, opiates, video games, fast food, seed oils, corn syrup and social media. All of which promote obesity, lethargy, paranoia, poor attention span, passivity and dependence.
At the same time we have tobacco bans (menthol, anyone born in the UK after 2008 will never be able to legally buy tobacco. etc.).
I don’t recommend tobacco as healthy, but isn’t it interesting that the Regime wants to ban the drug that promotes, calmness, concentration, and mental focus.
In any case, Regimes which limit tobacco but promote fentanyl, opiates, meth, crack... etc are not genuinely concerned with your health.
Oddly, those most grateful for decriminalizing weed may not feel very motivated to express that gratitude at the polls. In fact they may not feel motivated to do much at all…
Question: What was the final conclusion about the appearance of the cocaine in the White House cubby?
Karine: Next question.
(Satire)
Legalizing and providing *safe* zones where addicts are given the needles and drugs has caused drug use to explode and now everyone is whining about the number of OD deaths.
WTH did they expect would happen?
But as you can see, on this thread, others don't see it as being harmful.
This particular action is almost entirely about access to the banks.
We have heavily armed private vaults that they use to store cash in lieu of the banks.
They also plow a lot of it into real estate creating unnecessary housing inflation.
I cordially invite to San Francisco anyone who thinks that American society will be improved by making weed legal, cheaper, more widely available and more popular. The city is case-study on the outcomes associated with widespread use of this stupid drug.
Legally, this is just a formality. By now cannabis is probably legal in most states.
There is already a tremendous amout of information about the medical benefits of cannabis. The best information is about a variety of terpines in it, each with its own effects.
I use cannabis regularly. My doctor recommended I use it for appetite stimulation. I occasionally use a different product for sleep aid, as needed. I’m very impressed with both (edibles).
Happy 26th Freep Day to me.
Every state that has legalized pot has more homeless issues-California, Colorado, Arizona.
And no one talks about the near-narcotic strength of Marijuana today vs. the old hippie weed of the past.
It’s criminal that we don’t have compounding pharmacies for terpenes to address specific conditions. I’d rather be around people on cannabis than SSRIs. Jack Herer is practically a miracle drug for ADHD. We need to quit knee-jerk crucifying people for using cannabis. Indica definitely makes one not very functional, but the right sativa can change a life. “My people perish for lack of knowledge” and the ignorance about cannabis is epic. I can’t believe I started nursing school in 1980, excited cancer patients might soon be able to use legally, all the things that would be cured, and am now 65, retired, and still astounding ignorance over a plant.
I forgot the most important point (side effect, heh). This will have a huge economic impact. Mostly on the plus side.
It’s way past about time.
I don't think it's a majority. There is already a tremendous amout of information about the medical benefits of cannabis.
There is a lot of evidence that says the opposite, but the government and big pharma tries to suppress those studies, because it interferes with the trillions they want to make.
Also, marijuana is loaded with toxic pesticides.
Also, it makes a lot of people vote for socialists.
perfect
I’ve seen people kill over weed, die to get it, and so on. Go to jail and ruin their lives.
Singapore and Indonesia have the best policy. If found with it, you disappear.
What it does is cause a total lack of motivation over a fairly quick period of time and low use, and that gets worse and worse with more use.
So nobody will want to work even if paid. The old adage of:
‘Weed will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no weed’ is true.
It’s a disaster. We’ve destroyed society with it, but at least junkies can get high as the compensation for us all. That’s all we get out of it, so anyone that supports it better appeciate that.
“Every state that has legalized pot has more homeless issues-California, Colorado, Arizona.”
Indeed. The typical homeless wacko in San Francisco tokes its up all day on the sidewalk. I can’t walk down a typical street without smelling the stench of weed.
