NOWHERE in the legislation is anything suggested to stop the looting, arrest, jail, and convict the criminals that are causing the stores to leave.
Grocery stores should sue the cities to provide 24/7 armed security with authorization to shoot to kill any looters.

Six months notice? Ok, give notice, board up the place due to previous vandalism, “loose” the key, pay employees for six months. Wait till six months plus one day. Bye SF! We did not close, we just didn’t open………
Only in the USA can someone be sued for closing their business due to the high rate of theft. Unbelievable.
They would like to force store owners to remain open and to give away products free.
What this really is about is total ownership of all the means of production by the government, or communism. Profit would not exist. The government would set prices and salaries.
And everyone would starve, except the ruling elite which would live happily like royal pigs off everyone else’s work.
