I am one. Changed my official residence two years ago, sold the long-time house in a Dem county one year ago. Current county voted ~70% for Trump in 2020. I like it here.
But 12 million illegals have flooded into those counties to be counted in the next census.
They will vote Democrat in both the precinct they fled from and the one they fled to.
Good.
Blue voters...they will be surprised to find out in their new conservative counties that they actually have to register to vote and show an ID.
Dont let this secret out.
Not so sure about that..
Here in Florida we are net positive in migration. In that same time period, the GOP went from a 500,000 voter registration deficit to the Dems to over an 800,000 advantage.
Two years ago I sorted myself from the big, blue city to a tiny, impoverished town in West Tennessee. It’s been a sublime and totally positive experience. I traded one of the most beautiful, tropical regions of the country for an area populated by the finest people I’ll ever know, and have no regrets.
I wonder if an electoral college for States by county would work
And if I may remind everyone, Obama seized the census for the executive branch —in his first week of office if Im not mistaken
So, all these blue people are moving to red Trump counties so they can vote democrat and turn them blue. It’s amazing how regardless of how many democrats migrate to red states the blue states never seem to turn purple, let alone red. There seems to be an unending supply of democrats to spread around.
Florida definitely went from blue to purple to red. That’s a definite fact.

Many people from NY, NJ, California, Illinois have moved here. As my wife says “can you say you voted for Biden without saying you voted for Biden” by the look of them. I don’t think the migration has helped Florida turn red. I think it’s how voting has changed, forcing people to present ID to vote and decreasing mail in ballots. Florida elections now more reflect the will of the people, because of a twenty year crusade to get it right.
