I assume that a salary increase is planned to compensate for the gain of the eight hours lost and the increase in prices of all product ranges.

If I were one of those crazy right wing conspiracy theorists I would think robot and AI companies were behind this stuff.
Any time human labor becomes more expensive robot and AI replacements become more financially feasible.
