More than 125 precision weapons, some launched from B1s flying from the US, were used.

If the 23 dead in Syria and 16 dead in Iraq is right, that is about 3.2 weapons per terrorist.

Wonder what the whole operation works out to in terms of taxpayer dollars per terrorist killed?

That was sure nice of the enemy to provide an exact body count so quickly. Maybe with that kind of cooperation, we could learn to become good friends!

Reminiscent of the air war over VietNam. Fleets of B52s bombing huts and tunnels in the jungle.

The one thing we can be sure of is that, having been notified well in advance of the planned targets, the really bad actors were nowhere near the targets when the planes arrived...
