Too true, my town went from being CONSERVATIVE, when we moved here, to NOT, in 33 years. :-(

Every year it seems there’s “machine problems” of one kind or another here.
In 2000 it was mechanical lever machines and the Republican lever row was disabled.
Of you mentioned it, you were given a provisional ballot which later got thrown out.
Voila, Hillary as NY senator.
I remember the news reports that election night, ballots in dumpsters, machines with disabled levers, monkied tally counts.
Then they brought in the scanners.
Other locations with touch screens at least could see their vote being changed on screen sometimes.
Here, you have no idea what the machine actually recorded.

Wish NY checked ID, but if I learned anything about NY it’s that NY will always find a way to make something the absolute worst possible version of itself that it can.

When I lived in and voted in NYC, they checked IDS, before you could vote. But that was a very long time ago! Even farther back than that, when I was a child, my mother was a POLL WATCHER and I know that they checked IDs back then.

Don’t think I ever got asked for ID.
Even during the first election I voted in back after I turned 17.
Area I lived in had a brush fire going that night, seems like someone decided that immolating the entirety of the ridge above us was a good idea on election night.

17?

It was 21 when I was able to cast my first vote, but later on, the age was lowered to 18, where it has remained to this day. :-)

Or thereabouts.
It’s been.... Over 30 years ago and the important thing to my memory at the time was the brush fire on the ridge above us.
Lol.
Tells you how memorable the candidates were that night.

LOL, I understand.

I've been a political "junkie" ( my mother's doing ) since I was 9 years old, so even a brush fire wouldn't have taken presidence in my memory.

Head shake.

I don’t know the details to any of this. But my nose tells me this sounds like crap that Obozo would do.

1. I like Greg Abbott

2. I like AG Paxton

3. I despise lying leftists

4. I am not in Texas Senate District 30

5. Drew Springer is the incumbent and is not running for re-eleciton.

There are absolutely NO "corporate apartments", whatsoever in this building; NONE! It is businesses ONLY; NO residential space at all!

Brent H. is claiming that his firm's BUSINESS OFFICE is his "HOME" address! He has a home in another district, filed VERY late to run in this race, has NEVER voted in this district in his life, and his wife and kids live in their house!

When he ran for some other office, and lost, he listed his REAL home address, which is in a different county! And his past voting record shows that THAT is where he lives! Ergo, he LIED on his application ( PERJURY, because this is a LEGAL document! ) and is now stalling the hearing ( yesterday ) concerning this, by bringing in many multiple pages of "stuff", that the court has to go through prior to the trail, thus delaying it all and pushing it to just before the election ( where his name WILL be on the ballot ) and thus rig the election!

He's SCUM and should NEVER be elected to ANY office !

Please read the other thread about this...I'll PING you to it, so that you can read about a FANTASTIC candidate who is running against Brent.

At best, Brent is a RINO...but it seems to me that he's even worse than that!
