I could probably convince a jury that Trump did NOT commit any insurrection because the whole thing is absolutely RIDICULOUS on its face. What is an insurrection, trying to overthrow the Govt..Trump WAS the Govt, he was the President, so he was trying to overthrow himself LOL..and then the left would say “Well he was trying to stop the electors from certifying the election” Ok lets pretend that was the case and that was exactly what he was trying to do, there was NO need for him to even do that..he could have sat his butt in the White House office chair and said “I aint leaving” and thats that..try to pull him out by his hair he isnt going anywhere..now if Biden were president at the time and Trump believing that he had won had the same rally at the capitol MAYBE MAYBE I can understand the whole insurrection argument but Trump was president and he wasn’t going to overthrow himself..case closed

(Amount of "child" support paid is inversely proportionate to mother's actual parenting of children)
Here's the background:
- Fugly Shenna made her bones in the ACLU. Has never worked an honest day in her life.
- Somehow Bellows became the token donkey versus Sen. Collins in 2014, Schuck Fumer so disappointed, he withheld DSCC funds until the freaking ballots were printed. She lost 68-31, which was the most superior beatdown in the 2014 Senate races.
- Somewhere between here and there she was radicalized from being a former NRA member to a neomarxist lunatic screech.
- Nothing stopped her from being the first to attempt to Robespierrette President Trump, but as cowards often do, she waited for the Colorado Supreme Court to dance the kangaroo bop.
- The Secretary of State in Maine is elected by the Legislature. She won a bare plurality as the only female among six candidates -- pity the token black guy, that'll never happen in Maine.
- Maine insists on ranked choice elections for all non-Federal races but this one. I guarantee you had this garbage donkey-infested Legislature been held to their own electoral calumny and jungled this election with a threshold for the win, Madame Fugly would have lost to token Hickman. Hypocrites! *spit*
- What a Legislature can elect, it can unelect with a simple majority vote. GOP State Rep. John Andrews who has filed to impeach Bellows. This is a serious impeachment threat, as Andrews "sits on the Legislature’s Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee, which oversees state elections and the secretary of state’s office." Presumably, he sought impeachment rather than a bi-cameral reversal vote as the easier path, as the House adjudicates impeachment (yet the Senate must vote for removal). He only needs 7 Dems or the 3 independents and 4 Dems to successfully impeach. If he gets that far -- not an impossibility -- he could embarrass the State Senate into a vote on removal, or at that point, this radical would simply be forced to resign by her own party...
- ...as happened with Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, who was forced out over ballot error!

Look like losers who couldn’t even win Student Council President in High school, but now feel justified in telling the rest of us how to live.

"Look like losers who couldn’t even win Student Council President in High school, but now feel justified in telling the rest of us how to live."Exactly. She was a Bernie-style 'socialist' that was -- up to the Obama dark ages of The White Hut -- pro-NRA, knowing there was no advancement in NH/VT/ME politics otherwise, then gave some bs excuse that she left the NRA 'because the monthly magazine glorified shooting', I shit you not.
What happened was, she swayed with the wind, not a bone in her spine, and was told by the few consultants she could afford to hire in her pre-doomed 2014 Senate campaign against Collins, to drop the pretense and go full neomarxist.
Sure enough, she won a State Senate seat and then magically was the Legislature's pet choice as lone (first!) female on a typical bare majority for the SOS jerb.
This State Rep. John Andrews seems extremely pissed off.
"Rep. John Andrews said Thursday night he filed a request with the Maine Revisor’s Office for a joint order to impeach Bellows, a Democrat. In his letter requesting the order, Andrews wrote that Trump has met the qualifications to be on the ballot and that his name should be allowed to appear on it during the upcoming primaries.
“This is hyper-partisanship on full display. A Secretary of State APPOINTED by legislative Democrats bans President Trump from the 2024 ballot so that she can jockey for position in the 2026 Democrat Primary for Governor. Banana Republic isn’t just a store at the mall,” Andrews said in a social media statement.
Andrews sits on the Legislature’s Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee, which oversees state elections and the secretary of state’s office."

Soros has a weird obsession with Maine.
He and his cabal just bought 22 Maine newspapers in September. In 2018, he bought Cumberland County (Portland) Jackie Sartoris' victory over incumbent Jon Sahrbeck for 300 grand ( literally a dollar per county resident, Soros getting his marxist shit done on the cheap ), getting her to switch from Independent to Democrat in order to beat the incumbent Democrat. Why? The same Soros reason as everywhere else: release criminals directly back into society to create more crime.
Soros believes, to his core, that the United States, and even Britain!, did not come to the aid of the Jews rapidly enough to his satisfaction in WW2.
In the most lamely typically Marxist fashion, he has chosen to attempt to punish descendants of WW2 in the US and UK to satify his multiple sins, his stain-laden soul.
Thus the cornering of the pound sterling (with help) against the Bank of England, thus plowing those assets into punishing America ever since.
When Soros expires soon, it will be free candy and lulululu time here on FreeRepublic.

That’s the same thing with the GOP in Georgia. Democrats knew through the 90’s that they couldn’t succeed at state-wide politics, so they just self-identified as “conservatives.”

Okay, game on. Any Republican Secretary of State can bar Biden from the ballot in the same way and on the same grounds.
