Taking Bari’s advise, I chose to speak up and not read the article that said she, Bari, was thrilled about Barbara’s husband defending something with which do not agree.

You missed out. She addresses the seeming incongruity; and our need at this historic moment to be Americans again, who grant each other the right to live in freedom as long as we agree on our main American values, which she outlines—things most conservatives readily recognize. She also cited the Biblical values of the Founders.
