I believe the hostages are being kept under that hospital..Hamas knows that if Israel blows up the hospital they will be condemned for it..so the IDF has to go in there room by room

You have to act under the assumption that they are. If you give Hamas any material benefit for taking hostages, you only encourage the taking of hostages. Anyone who deliberately harms a hostage must suffer swift and certain death.
I am afraid that there will be no Entebbe ending to this sad story.
I have long been in favor of attacking the ventilation system. Pour gasoline or diesel down the ventilation shafts. They may have hostages or human shields with them, but letting that inhibit action will only encourage their criminal behavior.
But I bet they’d cope if it meant the utter destruction of those maggots without sending IDF personnel into the tunnels.
