We’re dealing with two separate issues here - passage in the House and passage in the Senate. I would imagine the House can and will pass it and the Senate won’t. That’s to be expected. Where Johnson goes from there is the big question.
If the republican House caucus is willing to play hardball for a change, they might eventually succeed. As was the case with the House speaker battle, the establishment’s unwillingness to endure an extended shutdown/stalemate is their Achilles heel, and always has been. Republicans have just never been willing to take advantage of that. Let’s see if things have changed.
I don’t want to send Ukraine any more $$$ but....
Yank funds from the EPA and send it to Ukraine?
