Israel is going to slow roll Hamas from north to south, pick them off as they exit the tunnels to Egypt, while using JDAMs to trigger / disarm the mile-by-mile booby-traps Hamas has left behind underground.

One thing is certain -- there will be no tunnel network when the IDF leaves. There may not be much infrastructure either.

Which is exactly what should happen.

Israel's approach is smart, kill Hamas where they lay, but in the long term, force a permanent exodus from Gaza -- make the Palis the problem of Egypt, and Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, where the Pali diaspora is already creating problems; and let the Mooselime crescent absorb their plague-carrying rats.

This is the best long-term way to punish Iran -- who always, always overplay their weak hand -- by sending the Palis to Iran's Mudshite enemies!
