Hey, I believe you're getting PM's like that because they're too chicken sh*t to come out on a public forum with that bull sh*t. You're a fraud...
I don’t care what you think. Just know that there are PLENTY of people who despise Trump as much as I do. They may not have time to go back and forth like I do, but they are here. I’m sure you’d just LOVE to purge us because that’s what authoritarians love to do.
The same big party frauds who supported open border globalist Bush, for not one term, but two!
And now you party hacks are being shown the door. Love it!
You're projecting....That's is exactly what happened right here during the Bush years, when you pro Boosh big party hacks went after anyone who opposed Bush, with people being banned en masse.
Re: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/interactive/2023/house-speaker-vote-kevin-mccarthy/
Only 8 republicans voted to oust McCarthy The other 208 votes came from the democrats.
The point I was trying to make is that regardless of whether you're for or against McCarthy, a process that permits a tiny minority of republicans to remove a republican Speaker is a bad process. In the case of McCarthy - 208 democrats and 8 republicans were responsible for his ouster. A process that gives democrats that much power/leverage is not a good process - IMHO. BTW - McCarthy was never my choice to be Speaker. I simply don't like the process that removed him.
McDemocrat agreed to it to get votes. his fault.
the rats stabbed him in the back on the deal that made with him. His fault
he LIED to republicans on what he would do. His Fault
He got kicked out of his job because of him.
you defend that loser all you want, but understand you are defending a guy that shot himself in the foot.
democrats sided with him.
The problem is all the Rinos didn’t.
“In war planning and execution, the enemy always gets a vote.”
Funny story in my training in war planning. The topic was continuity of government and the various plans involved. In those plans were the locations congress could be sent in case of nuclear attack. Someone asked if we would be maintaining contact with the USSR during an attack. When asked why, he responded, “Well, someone has to be sure they have the coordinates.”
I don't like McCarthy. He would not have been my pick for Speaker.
Allow me to repeat myself: a rule that give the minority party the ability to remove a republican Speaker is a bad rule. 8 republicans and 208 democrats removed McCarthy. Some believe the ends justifies the means. I do not. Regardless of its legality, the vacate rule is a bad rule - IMHO. McCarthy has nothing to do with my opinion of the vacate rule.
And McCarthy agreed to that rule to get votes.
Still his fault.
Just curious .... What is it that you hate about Trump? Second, what person or persons would you support for POTUS in 2024 - and why? Again, just curious.
This entire primary has become a circus. It is 100% about Trump as opposed to what it SHOULD be about (Biden's disgusting administration and his thug criminal family). Nobody is talking about Biden! It's all Trump all the time!
There are more threads on this site about Trump every day than there are about BEATING THE DEMOCRATS which is what we should all be talking about! How dare you call me a liberal when YOU are the ones helping the democrats keep a demented corpse in the WH. Shame on you.
That's it. That's when I lost it for Trump. Protecting the 2A is the single most important issue in America, IMHO. Without the 2A we are not America. He's a big-city billionaire who is protected by men with guns but he caves to pressure when some nut commits murder.
Trump says whatever he thinks he should say at that moment in order to get people to clap and give him money to pay his legal bills. Once he went against due process and advocated grabbing guns, he lost me. He should have lost a lot of people around here.
Apologies, I didn’t answer your second question. I support DeSantis. He is a tried-and-true Conservative with a proven track record. He has no baggage. He honors his wife (as opposed to some other candidates), served in the military (which others avoided), and maintains his stances on major issues.
How dare they represent us
There is no perfect candidate. Those of us who require a purity test, i.e., "the candidate must support/believe all my positions or I won't support him" fail to understand that in our system, you need a majority to rule. Many here reject wisdom that says, "perfect is the enemy of good".
I'm a pragmatist. However, there is a line in which I will not support any candidate. Like may of us, I vote for the better (not the perfect) of 2 candidates.
Like all of us, Trump is certainly flawed. One concern I would have is that if he became President would his lame duck status translate in him becoming indifferent or worse, antagonistic toward things I highly value. I like DeSantis and his posture toward woke Disney and his pro-life position. The #1 question I have is - who is best suited to beating the 2024 democrat candidate? The abuse and persecution Trump has endured from his political enemies is beyond anything I've ever seen. The fact that he has endured continuous persecution from all quarters since 2015 shows that he's been given in my opinion, supernatural strength; he's one not willing to back down, cave or compromise to his enemies - many of which are my enemies as well.
+1.
We are not enemies with the russian people. The two governments are enemies.
Happened one time in over 250 years - but it makes the speakers job impossible? seriously Mitch? time for you to retire.
