The last time we were in Oakland, as we exited the freeway, there was a very large pile of garbage, filth, excrement, etc. This pile was, at least, 2 stories high. Next to and all around this were tents and lean-to’s. They had no issues with the pile of filth. Thousands of locals must drive by it every day.
It's like my neighbors in DC who have lived through wokeness, defund the police and the BLM riots and our lovely mayor and cannot fathom why you can hear gunfire in the evening and porch thieves and car thieves are running amok. It's a real mystery to them. Everything was supposed to be peaceful once that orange man left town.
........well, it would be nice to see a gang of blacks or a gang of hispanics STOP shooting everybody and START coming to the rescue of people being attacked.
Now that you bring it up, even in Germany and South Africa RACE is a component of what’s going on.
In South Africa, it’s just blacks attacking whites because they want them to leave the country. In Germany, it’s the hundreds of thousands of black males that have immigrated to the country robbing, stealing, raping, looting and just committing general mayhem against the white people.
Should have thought of this over 20 years ago.
I was thinking the other day is we may be arriving at the “Strike” level from Atlas Shrugged.

How about this? Shutter your doors and move your business somewhere else far away from that sh1thole. The only thing the Oakland City Council understands is tax revenue and the loss thereof. Otherwise nothing will ever happen to improve the situation there.
It is a freaking joke, Try moving out.
Memphis is the same way. Now the next county over in Covington TN is getting that way. Can’t go anywhere without a sidearm.
I'm about 25 miles outside St. Louis so I know what you're talking about. I never go there anymore. Haven't in years.
