I watched that entire meeting when it aired back then. The way he trolled Feinstein was great. Had her pleading to him to ban guns, lol. No, I wasn’t worried then as this is Trumps style to get everything out on the table.
The bump stock ban after the Mandalay Bay shooting was another score for Trump as it doesn’t do anything. If you’re a shooter you can bump fire anytime if you really want to.

It is not about principles or power. It is about emotional upheaval, weakness, and the inability to have others see things your way, not realizing most do not think the way you do, and therefore reach different conclusions.
It makes your thinking, and reasoning, flawed.
This in turn leads to conclusions that are simply not supported, are baseless, and without foundation.

Trump is the leader of this immoral behavior infecting the conservative movement right now, whether you choose to address it, or not. I will. It’s not about hating the man, I pray for him, almost every day. He could be a champion for principle, but he keeps going further in the opposite direction with every interview/speech.

It did plenty. The ATF’s ban on bump stocks classified a PART as a machine gun.
It took a PART that companies had been making and consumers had been buying and made it illegal to purchase or even possess. Hang onto your bump stock? You’ve just committed a felony.
THAT’S power - executive power. Bureaucratic power. And demonstrated that President Trump squished on the 2nd Amendment.
And it’s that same kind of power that led to the ATF publishing their pistol brace rule.
