As an officer I would have slumped down to the ground in pain and said she hit me and grabbed me as I twisted away from the camera view. Then sued the freak.
I’m not real sure that is a “smug look”, to me it looks more like a DOWNS SYNDROME look.
Go on line and type in Downs Syndrome; take a look at the kids who were born with it, some of these kids function at a higher level than others, our little Gretta might be one of those.
Downs children are easily manipulated by the people around them and can be quite stubborn in an inculcated world view.
