Desantis is a non starter.
He’s not going to be the nominee, and he’ll almost certainly have bowed out before Florida votes in March, if he even survives that long. Otherwise he’ll be facing the very humiliating outcome of being a sitting governor who lost the primary in his own state.

Desantis’ direction is the wrong direction and in spite of how many “relaunches” it continues to decline, and its not going to change.
Everyone who’s name isn’t Trump are basically fighting for a share of the 30-40% of the vote, doesn’t matter what any of them do, none of them are going to be the nominee.
When the dust settles, Trump will be the nominee with well over 60% of the votes cast...
As the folks who prefer someone other than Trump keep trying to find a candidate... they will bounce from candidate to candidate, and with each subsequent jump, some of them will come to conclude, Trump’s a better choice.. and the poll of “not Trump” voters will diminish every time one of these also rans drops out.
Oct 15th the campaigns will have to report their finances again, .. we already know 85% of desantis’s money is coming from a few large donors with very little from small donors... that’s not a campaign that is going to survive while performing in the teens, and dropping.
