The Sherrif is smart not to enforce this. He swore an oath to uphold the constitution. Trying to enforce this would open him up to liability given it is obviously unconstitutional.

If I recall correctly, New Mexico no longer offers LEO’s immunity from actions on duty. Citizens can sue officers if they violate a citizens rights during interactions. I doubt there will be any officer enforce her order, they could be sued.
