Well, no. They became really angry with him after he was elected to the Senate b/c he had promised constituents, who voted for him based on this, that if he won, he would not run against or undermine Trump. He has and they feel lied to.
Yes, they do like politeness and niceness, but pulling a lever for another candidate might be nice enough of them to accomplish. Let’s hope.
You are right, I have no idea how angry Utahans are with Romney. But I would suggest it’s no where near ANGRY ENOUGH to dump his ass.

Utah is full of conservative Mormons, they could just pick a random name from a phone book and do a lot better than Romney.
Mitt has the people who run the signature machinery. Regular GOP movers on the precinct level want him out with a passion.

Well I hope they have seen the light now. Wish states with rino representatives would wake up and send a loud clear message that we aren’t going to tolerate rinos anymore.
