Hopefully they pass word back to their nest-shitting friends who haven’t uprooted yet.

His M.O. has always been to say just enough to make people think he’s doing something, then back to business as usual.

I was in Austin last Monday for the Lyle Lovett and his large band concert at the Austin City Limits set. Saw homeless tent people under the overpasses on the way to the hotel. Hotel staff shuttled us to dinner in nice black Suburbans and to the venue for the show as well. I was in Austin for just less than 24 hours. Spent most of the time on the 9th floor with an amazing view balcony. A far cry from the two years i lived and worked there in the early 70’s. The only unchanged thing I recognized was the Texas State Capital. I wouldn’t live there on a bet now.

If you shoot the robber, should you call 911 or 311?
Nope. See my post #23.
No problem man. I’ll call the coroner. Problem solved.

Don't ever ever let a rabid dog bite you. They have to be put down.
A rabid dog will take your life if you feel sorry for it and after it's bitten you it will go after whoever is with you and God forbid it's your child.

If victims start shooting the criminals, the police will show up then.

The state legislature could just say every man arm up and protect yourself, no questions asked, ...axed.

Austin, the city of Bostom liberals. Recently, I spent several weeks in Boston (North End). Compared to Austin, Boston is clean and has very few homeless. There is also a much stronger police presence in Boston.
It also appeared that Boston is very segregated.
