When I use the term “woke”, I mean it exactly the way progressives mean it — no jujitsu there. The problem is that what they mean is laughably ridiculous and evil.

I have a friend, who is actually a strong conservative, but voted Democrat for several years because a regional Republican Party Chairman crook screwed him over personally.
In one of our conversations over who to vote for, he accused me of using ‘Verbal Jiu-Jitsu’ on him.
I said: “No; I’m slapping you upside the head with a 2X4 of reality.”
they simply can’t stand that we know what they actually mean when they use these made-up words and phrases.
Still haven’t won back “gay”.
The Conservatives are using their terms to describe what they really are, not what Leftists want you to think they are.
