One Christmas back in the 70’s my dad was determined to have a fire in the fireplace on Christmas day. It was 75 degrees that day, so he cranked the A/C down to about 65 so he could have his Christmas wood fire. Houston, Texas.
Yup.
People don’t recognise weather any more.
Scientists have predicted a climate of extremes.
And predicted Y2K UFO’s ....................................
New day new prediction.
Media steering away from real issues
I have never been in a warm place at Christmas, so I have wondered how people in those places worked in the wintry themes. Some years ago we had the opposite of the usual Christmas weather: it was in the eighties, I wore a short-sleeved shirt, and we had a rip-roaring thunderstorm in the afternoon. A Christmas to remember.
We have two seasons down here.
Sweat weather and sweater weather.
Sweat weather lasts about 9 months.
Back before streets were paved, they used to say we had two seasons here: winter and mud. It’s better now. The 5-6 months of cold are tiresome, springs are typically short, but summers are usually enjoyable and falls are usually the best; my favorite anyway.
Anything to keep the fake reality meme alive.
I am beginning to love the fake reality world we live in. All the media liars are so entertaining! Reality is boring.
Give me fake reality, or give me death!
Reality, is boring. /s
Have we reached peak fake reality yet?
Reality is the only thing that keeps you alive.
The wonderers are the first to go
Note lemmings
It is, but if we don’t dwell on how hot, it’s fine.
A slash of water on hat or shirt goes a long way, especially if it’s dry, in which case it can get chilly. I never felt evaporation chills in Florida extreme heat.
? How do the poor in Mexico deal with the Summer heat??
Licea, who hails from Mexico, works several low-paying jobs to make ends meet. She does not have the $2,000 it would cost to buy a new AC system.
The heatwave of 2023 isn’t in the ballpark of past US heatwaves like 1936.

Agree it’s what I’ve been saying but the media is mum pimping climate control scam.
