I read that the dead woman had a daughter that was being taken care of by relatives.

They are just looking for the payday from the insurance company. Justice is just code for $$$ in these cases.

Unless it was a electric tractor those things can almost wake the dead.

She had to really be out not to hear it.

Not at all surprising. Like I said this is a terrible accident. Let the insurance pay out and the money put into a trust for that girl.

Many years ago I worked for a company that did weatherization work on ghetto houses.

One place was an apartment over a storefront. We were to replace a six-foot window unit in the front bedroom.

The tenant was passed out cold on the bed the entire day. We even stood on the bed while we were working. I wonder if she ever wondered when the windows were replaced.

Also, if he was concerned about her, why was she homeless?

You can't force a person to stay at your house if they don't want to.

In China, “justice” means charging the family for damage to the lawn mower.

We are having a record chigger season in KY.

Twice in the last month I have been doing some basic grass or shrub work by my house and have never been chigger bit there before and I got chewed up. For me it takes 2 weeks for them to stop itching. NOTHING relieves the itching. I have tried everything. Last time I had at least 15 bites up into my thighs and groin. My grass is always kept cut.

From now on I’m covering myself in OFF/Deet from the waist down before I trim a bush. If that doesn’t work I’m paying someone to do it from now on.

She was stoned or maybe an overdose.

“Dez Martinez, CEO and founder of the homeless advocacy group We Are Not Invisible, is ...”

Well, I suppose that’s somewhat debatable.

Chiggers is not a politically correct word. Come on! Get with the program! We say Chegroes, now!

She called the incident an accident ...

Whew--that's a relief--glad there's not a serial lawn mower terrorizing the people who sleep in parks during the daytime.

your daughter was asleep in the tall grass and brush approximately 3-4 feet high at a local park.

she was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

we believe this because she didn't wake up when the tractor came by.

she was run over by what is know as a "bush hog" or "gang mower, which is multiple mowers attached to the back of a tractor.

She died of multiple blunt force and knife force trama including severe head injuries

Once again we are sorry, this was a tragic accident. for the future, we recommend people not taking naps in high grass on public or private property without letting the owners know.

INVESTIGATION CLOSED.

It’s the death of a human being, under suspicious circumstances, but it’s unlikely to be a homicide; certainly not a murder. She was, probably, already dead. The Coroner’s report will likely settle the matter. We’ll see

And probably hidden in the tall grass.

Every place where the father says “justice” the word “money” should be substituted.

I don’t know if this will work for you, but one home remedy I’ve used is to rub (moistened) salt on the bites for a few seconds each then washed it off. The itching doesn’t completely go away, but the intensity and duration seems to subside by what seems to be an order of magnitude. My theory is that the salt draws off whatever chigger saliva is causing the allergic reaction that causes the itching, i.e. there’s a kind of osmotic action at work here. I rub the salt in hard enough to see some color, but not hard enough to draw blood.
