My point is that there is much more to it than money (though you are certainly correct that money is a large part of it).

It's like saying that homelessness is a matter of money or lack of good housing stock and nothing else.

A major part of this problem is that liberal voters believe they can feel good by simply identifying and enabling victims...and by voting for liberal politicians.

In fact, it's the voting for liberal politicians that gets the money train started. Politicians (with a few exceptions) only care about money and power.

I said it's an ignorant statement because, though this video doesn't discuss the financial aspects of this problem, it does provide a very enlightened (from a conservative POV) discussion of how the left creates homeless encampments by enabling drug addicts and the mentally ill so that they can claim they are "helping" their poor victim class.

This video exposes the Left's disregard for solutions to the problems of drug addicts and the mentally ill.

As an aside, much of the problem of homelessness started when liberals turned mentally ill people out of institutional hospitals for the insane and dumped them on the streets.

Here's a not-very-good answer to your great question.

The maggots are the victims (in this case drug addicts and the mentally ill) being abused by the Marxists in our midst.

I think the way we get rid of the Marxists is to expose and defund them and their evil ideology.

This video helps. And parents who pull their kids out of Woke schools, people who refuse to buy products from Woke companies, people who refuse to attend Woke universities, people who speak out against the destruction of children by Woke and their gender-reassignment doctors, people who support our candidates who understand the evil of Marxism and are willing to fight--really fight, people who openly fight the LBGTQ agenda to groom the children...all that helps.

There must be a thousand other ideas that I haven't thought of yet. You probably have a bunch.

I think we can see the tide turning a little bit already. But we have a long way to go.
