Not really. Rockford went Democrat 30 years ago or so. It started going downhill from there, IMHO.
They need to stop referring to these people as “sick”. It’s a cop-out, as o6f it’s not their fault. They’re simply evil.
The simple solution is for one officer to carry a very small squeeze bulb syringe that once armed, can squirt a small amount of liquefied opiate up a perp’s nose. Very quickly giving him a lethal opioid overdose.
Just enough of the liquid in one syringe for one dose.
Very low odds of repeat offense if the offender dies.
