As you said, a little bit each day and soon it will all be in place!

Yahoo and PTL! So very happy for you! You’ll have the new place in order in no time, I’m sure.

Good morning. Happy Friday!

Are the kitteh’s named Yin and Yang?

Mrs. ArGee is getting a little frustrated with her mother’s inability to plan. She keeps having to run to the store because they’re out of something important. We should just run a tab at the supermarket.

Back to normal on the Wordle front to kick off the last day of the week.

Wordle 783 4/6

⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨
⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜
⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

The site didn’t tell us their names. I get frustrated with my inability to plan, not to mention other family members who change the plan after I’ve already started executing the first plan.

Wow, making that meme spot on... I have never heard of the guy, or heard him (or anyone else) mentioned in relation to that flight...

I’m sure your inability and my M-I-L’s inability are two different issues. With you it’s likely due to ever-changing realities. With her it’s just a cognitive issue. My wife will ask her mother, “What do you need?” and she will answer, “I don’t know. We’re out of so much.” Then my wife has to go through all the cabinets and the refrigerator with her to find a few items lacking.

But then the next day there’s something else.

Also, F-I-L will suddenly get a yen for something. There’s no concept of “Well, you didn’t tell me before the last shopping trip so you’ll have to wait for the next shopping trip.” It becomes its own emergency.

Good morning.

My mother used to be the same way, and it was tiresome for me because I had to drop everything and go to the store for her. In a lot of ways, I wish I could do that for her, now.

I may or may not do the Wordle today. But if I did, it would probably be a Quad! Good job!

I knew she had a navigator on board because we were taught that in school, somewhere along the line. I just couldn’t recall his name.

Good Friday Morning!

She shouldn’t feel so bad about the inability to plan... lots of that going around lately... It has been weeks that I have been saying, “Next time we go to town I need to get some of those terry cloth wrist bands...” that absorb the sweat running down your arms... still don’t have them, was even in Academy sports store last Friday evening...

I kept forgetting to buy a new pool skimmer so the past couple of days I had nothing to use but my hands... new one should be coming from Amazon today...

And the list of items that we keep forgetting to get at the grocery store is endless... and we make even make lists before we go... 🙃

Only lots of elimination and a lucky guess allowed me to salvage this one in four...

Wordle 783 4/6

⬛⬛⬛⬛🟨
🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛
⬛🟨⬛🟨⬛
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

(In the golf analog, this Par on the 15th hole keeps me at Par for the round... ⛳️)

They may have mentioned something like that long ago in school... but if they did, I guarantee that it has long since been forgotten!

Good morning.

Did you have a good night? (It seems forever since I asked that!)

I was awakened by a very loud crash about 0400 and on investigating, found that one of the plastic file bins had toppled from its perch to the floor in the large storage closet in here.

Now that’s what I call incentive! I’m going to focus on that closet today and get the things sorted out. I’m still looking for the legs for the big TV, but may have to find another way to tackle the problem.

As soon as the bathroom warms up, I’ll go take a shower and then start my day. Whatever that means.

FWIW, either I’m doing too much lifting during the day, or this futon is the worst one I’ve ever slept on because I woke up this morning almost unable to get out of bed. Unngh. Twice.

You could get the terry cloth wrist bands at Amazon, if you wanted to. Probably cheaper than a high-end sports store.

Amazon seems to be my go-to place for important stuff that I forgot, like ginger snaps. ;o]
