Sorry about not answering for such an extended period. I sorta got wrapped up in schlepping things and putting other things away.
I made a mess in my living room but in doing so, I managed to put away some other things in places where they belong. The body (box) count is only three, but that may change a little later.
There are actual spices in one of the cupboards, and I moved the microwave cart to it’s place in the kitchen so it can be plugged in and used. Small victories!
I had to move a bookcase, but I think I’m going to put it on Facebook Marketplace just because I don’t have room for it and don’t want it. I just won’t do it today because I don’t want people to bother me on Sunday.
So now, my living room as well as the bedroom, look like mazes, but instead of plowing through stuff tomorrow, I’ll be taking a day off and doing what the Lord commanded us to do — rest.
Then Monday, I’ll get back to work and see how much progress I can make. I just looked at the bottom shelf in the storage closet, and I think I have to move some boxes. It is bowed. That is not good!! *schlep-schlep-schlep* Much better!

Good morning. I hope you had a good night. What do you hear from Elen and Bill and any of your other offspring who live away from home? The count is six, now, isn’t it?
The only bad thing about living in this time zone is that everyone on the Undead Thread is up so much earlier than I.
Church doesn’t start unil noon here, this year, but in January, it will rotate back to 0900 again. I hope I have a vehicle then, like a small pickup. I’m sure I’ll be all moved in and have a bed.
I’ll miss sitting next to my FS in church but the jury is still out on how he feels about my absence. I get the feeling that he’s pretty much resentful. But as Joan Rivers would say, “Oh, grow up!”
Maybe I’ll see about Wordle today. If I can find a pencil to do my figuring. ;o]

Good morning. Elen phoned yesterday. She got cats: two orange ones, three years old. She sends me pictures.
Nothing from the elusive Bill. I expect Tom will be over later to do his laundry, sigh.
Good for Elen! I’ll be getting one (or two) soon. I need a furry. Of course, I’ll have to make sure there is something for them to scritch on besides the futon and the rug.
Bill will always be elusive, but that’s probably why he got a cat.
Oh dear to Tom. Still hasn’t learned to cut the laundry strings, huh?
FS sent me a text about an hour ago. He’s evidently going to get a new job in the church. Right now, he teaches a class of mid-teens, and really enjoys it. He says the kids are pretty smart when it comes to the stuff they’re being taught. But then, I’ve been in a couple of classes he taught and he makes learning fun. He really knows how to get along with kids.
I’ll know in a little bit.
I’m glad he has something that makes him happy, and I hope the new assignment is positive for him, too.
Well, he sent me a text, but all I could respond was, “Yippee! Oops. Sorry. Later.” because it was 0900 there and time for their first meeting to start.
But yes, I think it will be a good thing for him. It should provide lots of room for spiritual growth.
Now, I need to go take a shower and begin to commence to start on getting ready!

I was gifted the letters again, but I had to read the list of words that had been used to make sure my starting word hadn’t been picked. Today’s word won’t show up on the list until tomorrow.
Anyway, I had almost forgotten how much fun it was to play!
Happy afternoon! I went to bed after Mass. We had a different guest priest today. He was visiting here from Long Island but was originally from El Salvador.
Father Gary is still really sick.
I’m sorry to hear about Father Gary, but glad you had a new guest priest.
It was really fun to be in church today, as I got lots of hugs from people who were glad to see me!
And the heat was wonderful!
My other friend Tracy is supposed to bring me a pork roast plate with home made bread, butter, homemade jelly and some new potatoes with green peas, so I’ve been thinking about it and drooling ever since she told me. Which was this morning when I was trying to get ready for church!
Anyway, they should be here before long — Geeks bearing grits. :o])
I have to make some adjustments to storage patterns here, but it will be better than anything I had in Cabot.
I have to make sure I set my alarm in the morning, but I tell you for sure, I really don’t want to get up to wash clothes. I’m just so tired these days. I think part of it is the altitude change and part is the new medication, or maybe it’s both.

Well, Tracy came, and the food was very tasty, but I only ate about a third of it. It was just too much. I was more focused on the bread than anything else! AND! She took my laundry because she said I “look very tired,” and she’ll bring it back to be on Tuesday morning, early, on her way to work.
I was looking forward to tomorrow with dread, for sure. I don’t know how long it’s going to take me to get adjusted to the altitude, darnit. But that’s OK. With willing people, I’ll be fine. I’m in the Lord’s hands and He knows what I need before I do!
Anyway, I’m going to make up the bed and read for a bit. I feel like I’m being spoiled, and I don’t want to get too used to it!

This is a perfect day to get stuck in a tree.
The Princess had a slight case of loose stools yesterday so she’s getting hamburger and rice in the hopes her system will settle out quickly. She likes hamburger and rice. We need everything to settle out so she can have her biopsy done next week. If we have to put it off it’s going to be difficult to find a 2 week spell for her recovery for a while. The joys of pet ownership.
Sounds like the move-in is going as usual, ‘Face. Hang in there.
Not a very good Wordle start. Hopefully that only means things will get better.
