Illinois is dead.
As a US citizen, to renew my Minnesota drivers license I had to produce a certified copy of my birth certificate, two proofs of legal residence, a photo ID from a government agency and my Social Security card. Minnesota has also recently allowed illegals to get drivers licenses. Apparently illegal aliens will just be handed a drivers license with flimsy or even fraudulent documentation and be able to use it to access federal buildings, get on airplanes, buy booze and anything else that requires ID. Of course these licenses will soon allow illegals to vote. It irks me that as a tax paying citizen I have to go through all kinds of hoops to get a driver’s license while illegals might as well get theirs torn off a roll.
Drivers licenses from any state are accepted at airports and police departments across the United States. This move by Pritzker would force Texas and Florida to accept the "Real ID's" of illegal aliens from Illinois, even though it goes against the laws of Texas and Florida.
SCOTUS could stop this if they wanted to on equal protection grounds or on the same ruling the Court used against Arizona's SB1070 law, citing immigration policy as the exclusive domain of Congress.

The US Citizen has little value and is disrespected. Illegals are allowed everything while the US Citizen becomes slave labor to Blue States (Illinois, California and New York) and DC, The Slave Master.
Texas and Florida can just stop accepting any Illinois driver’s license.
I think the problem is that the "full faith and credit" clause of Article IV requires them to accept it.
Article IV Section 1Granting a state driver's license is a "public act" and the license itself is a state "record" that must be given "full faith" in all the other states.Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.
States must appeal this to the Supreme Court on the grounds that some states are forcing other states to accept their decisions on illegal immigrant status and that should be the purview of Congress, not individual states, to legislate.
