I liked DS for a long time. It's been disappointing watching him align with the worst people in the GOP. Imagine, he actually got the Liz Cheney endorsement; along with so many who have done harm to the country.

Those people he aligned with hate conservatives, and kowtow to the left.

He's not done well since he began this run. His poll numbers, along with his ability to stand strong, have dropped significantly in the past month leading up to this announcement. I'm betting he will be passed by Vivek R within a month, because Vivek unashamedly supports the concepts of MAGA.

I believe he's made a huge mistake in running now, much like Cruz did. The advisors he has appointed, that whisper in his ear that he needs to come against Trump rather than support him are doing him no favors. Had he waited, he would have done better.

I do not hate him, but he has shown himself to be untrustworthy in the last month. He's not ready for this and should have known it.

Desantis has the unusual situation in Florida where the legislature is made up of a super majority. This is why he is getting things done. Florida is passing laws that would never make it out of committee anywhere (without a super majority). As great as it is for Florida, the same will not apply with DC. Far from it. I dare say the average Republican in Florida does not fully recognize that.

Trump went to bat for DeSantis one time.. and now he’s trying to take Trump out. I’ve had enough of the disloyal bunch out there. Don’t do that!! desantis is young enough to run later.. and no matter how good a governor you floridians think he is, there is no way he has the wisdom and experience to run this nation with the fix the dems have us in. Trump has been in there and did a fine job... he has been attacked like no other, and he has to be President again to fix the take over of our country by the commie globalists.

as it is now, I used to like DeSantis and now I would not vote for him for President... loyalty speaks.. what Desantis has done is what pence did... if the MAGA people react to this, Desantis may have fixed his future.

I figure the ones still liking DeSantis, are younger than those of us who think he is not old enough to be that wise and know how to deal with a government that comes down on him full force and his family is not safe.

If you think the dems will be kind to him..think again. If he does what the conservatives want, and if he has a way to live in the media’s minds...they will come after him. If he manages to keep the left gestapo from him.. he will not be a conservative making conservative decisions. this is not one state... its the life of the globalists.. the United States has to be in the global world.. we can’t be a great country united and one nation under God.
