If some smart aleck tries to say CA is in fiscal trouble so cut spending, Newsom can bring up what the takers won’t be able to take: reparations, food plan, housing, welfare money.... Just like the US.
The goal is not fiscal responsibility. It is winning elections based on “what will you give me the other candidate won’t?”
There were also massive capital gain windfalls that will not be there again soon.

Newsom could help by giving back the $1.6 billion he stole in April 2020 and said it was for buying masks from a chinese bus company called BYD. No masks arrived.

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway owns 10% of BYD-America. The U.S. subsidiary gets subsidies from California, as part of the state’s effort to combat climate change. The California Air Resources Board reports that BYD-America has received $120 million in cap-and-trade funding to help jumpstart its electric vehicle factory.
Imagine the next one though…It’s gonna be a super moonbat next time. So glad I finally got the hell outta CA. Life is great in Florida.
