Didn’t the SCOTUS decide that The White House had to allow certain newspapers into press conferences?...or something to that effect? Didn’t Trump try to ban some newspaper (and was told he could not)?

freedom of the press means that, the White House has the freedom to ban whoever they wish in the press, especially if that press member does not toe the line. Hmmm... sounds very much like what you see in totalitarian governments. We now have a totalitarian government.
