As usual, the left and their reliable Never-Trumper GOP foot soldiers consistently accuse conservatives of what they themselves are doing.
Take the paragraph below. The GOPe brag about the fact that they are abandoning their base and are ignoring the wishes of their voters.
"Michelle Cottle of the New York Times recently reported from Georgia, where the state party has effectively been taken over by the comments section. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, who defied Trump’s attempts to destroy him in the primaries, has essentially washed his hands of the state GOP, directing donors to ignore it and give their money to his PAC."
TRANSLATION OF THIS ARTICLE:
“Boo hoo. We lost our ability to control comments, the majority of which hate us.”
Shut up jonah!
“His failure to be re-elected and erroneous strategy since”
Leftards and RINOtards had a little to do with it. They did everything possible to discredit him, Hilaretard made crap up about Trump colluding with Russia (and the FBI and media ran with it as if it were a fact), falsely impeached him twice. The media was 24/7 negative Trump throughout his entire presidency.
Psychotards.
I cannot abide this smug tub of lard.
Hmmmm, “Jonah Goldberg” - didn’t he used to be somebody?
Nah, I must be mistaken.
;’}
Jonah Goldberg is a RINO.
I doubt any Conservative takes him seriously any more.
In comments sections - including such mega-versions like Twitter - the nastiest commenters post more, and more obnoxiously, than the decent ones until, eventually, the decent folk just decide not to hang out anymore. The only remedy for this is comment moderation, where grown-ups in charge try to thwart the trolls lest they lose their more valuable customers.

Afflicting FR.
Well you know, the only people allowed an opinion and to comment on it are elitists like Goldberg.
The peasants are supposed to shut up and agree.
first they came for the mean tweets
then
they came for the mean comments
then
when they came for me
there was no one left to speak up
The comments are the ONLY place to balance the horrid left wing propaganda.

Jonah Goldberg would be cleaning cages at the zoo if it wasn’t for his mother. She got him his first writing job, which was cliched tripe. How he climbed up the ladder in the “conservative” media I’ll never understand. Lousy writer, boring commentator and, as Rodney Dangerfield would say, he’s ugly too!
I firmly believe that what this author calls a “comment section troll” is closer to a grassroots conservative than he can even understand.
I know you have friends who eavesdrop on the "Comments" here.
Have you ever seen the movie "Quiz Show"? Why yes I believe you have.
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AHAHAHAAAAAAHAAHAHAHAAHAKOOFKOOF
AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!
You feel so bad for him, Schnorrer, why don't you hire fatty fatty puke puke lofl!
"Chris Stirewalt's leaving had nothing to do with the correct Arizona call by the Fox decision desk," Rupert Murdoch stated in an email to The Washington Post, rather Murdoch was concerned about "Stirewalt's on-air manner, which he perceived as overly casual for a discussion of the election results." ... analysis of "ratings on a minute-by-minute basis" indicated viewership flattening or falling during Stirewalt's frequent appearances."--wiki
