In the final analysis, it largely comes down to locale.

No one living within 40 miles of DC, NYC or LA should be listened to.

That is both the DNC and RNC, and a huge stinking pile of people seeking money from donors for their meaningless and valueless political thoughts. Oh, sorry, those are all the same people.

In comments sections - including such mega-versions like Twitter - the nastiest commenters post more, and more obnoxiously, than the decent ones until, eventually, the decent folk just decide not to hang out anymore. The only remedy for this is comment moderation, where grown-ups in charge try to thwart the trolls lest they lose their more valuable customers.

Afflicting FR.

Well you know, the only people allowed an opinion and to comment on it are elitists like Goldberg.

The peasants are supposed to shut up and agree.

Many elitist GOPe sites no longer allow comments. Or else they put commenting behind a paywall and people go elsewhere.

It is obvious that they know we hate them.

President Trump did us all a great service by exposing the neocon frauds like Goldberg and Crystal. Trump didn't need to do much because the idiots exposed themselves. It killed them to be irrelevant in the political arena. President Trump exposed a lot of corrupt lowlifes.

Yep.

So, this raises the whole issue of whether Trump should appear on unfriendly or non-conservative media. Many say no. I ask, how will you ever hope to reach any of the 40% who don’t watch any conservative media?

I don’t think it matters much anymore. People don’t have any control over what happens at the ballot box.

You can campaign your heart out and it won’t matter on election day.

Why appear on their shows to have them pick you apart and make you look bad for no reason? I doubt it translates into many votes.

i.e. if practiced upon the right, censorship is for the greater good.

This is for the greater good

And she is despised by some on this forum. *****

Some here are not as politically astute as you and I.

MTG is one of the best patriot/conservatives out there.

She is fearless.

Oh, and let us not forget that Mark Levine was on Nat Review venomously dissing Trump back in the day.

He is one of his strobgest supporters now.

Jonah Goldberg would be cleaning cages at the zoo if it wasn’t for his mother. She got him his first writing job, which was cliched tripe. How he climbed up the ladder in the “conservative” media I’ll never understand. Lousy writer, boring commentator and, as Rodney Dangerfield would say, he’s ugly too!

“Jonah Goldberg would be cleaning cages at the zoo if it wasn’t for his mother.”

Goldberg has always thought very highly of himself. Fortunately, he is the only one that has done so.

I firmly believe that what this author calls a “comment section troll” is closer to a grassroots conservative than he can even understand.
