I don’t see it that way. Note that he said that is “different from the level of proof that is needed to name somebody.” That is effectively saying that he’s not going to finger anyone.
Doing so would make him a pariah and an outcast in DC.
I see him more as prodding for a more fuller investigation and let the process expose the leaker.
We have different views on this and that’s fine. That’s what makes the world go around. ;)
We agree that Alito is pushing the issue, which no doubt is causing heartburn for Alito’s Lefty colleagues.
I’m very surprised that Alito is pushing the issue, making some waves as it were.
Roberts is probably the one with the most heartburn over this.
He was correctly pee'd off that the leaker put his life in danger.
Poor Roberts. He deserves more than heartburn.
He did that on purpose.
I fought against Miers and for Alito.
