EMP is produced by a very high altitude nuclear burst, which has little affect otherwise. No thickness of shielding helps with a close hit by a nuke. Tactical nukes will be a more effective battlefield choice than EMP.

It was supposed to be powered by the same engine used in a Type VII U-boat.

Jennifer Granholm is an unqualified idiot with no concept of what a military is supposed to be able to do. Then again the entire upper eschelon of the Pentagon has no clue either.

Electricity doesn’t just come out of the air. And you can’t take it with you to war, unless you bring generators, which have to be run by SOMETHING.

You're ignoring the obvious. Solar panels, lots of them covering our tanks. Electricity out of the air. Only thing is, ask the enemy to hold off attacking for the 3 or 4 days to charge up the tank to move 5 miles.

... And a mulvaney militia providing manpower for their operation for the safety and security of America.

It all makes grand sense to the dems.

That is what I was talking about and remember the Soviets developed low yield suitcase nukes in the 60s and 70s.

This woman is either incredibly stupid or incredibly evil.

I vote "BOTH".

They did indeed develop those. On the other hand, tactical nukes that be fired from artillery are old hat now. The Russian commanders are allowed to use them if they have them. Our guys can use them only through special permission. The Russians have a lot of artillery, it is their weapon of choice.

Tactical nukes don't cause EMP. Only high altitude bursts do that.
