If democrats would quit shooting people, gun deaths in this country would go to almost nothing over night.
It’s not the NRA that is standing up the strongest for the Second Amendment Constitutional rights of citizens. It’s the citizens themselves. Sometimes the people use the NRA to give them a louder voice, but they do not always trust the NRA to speak on their behalf. Therefore, the people speak loudly on their own by continually breaking records as to gun and ammo purchases.
The NRA could go away tomorrow and it would have no affect on the people’s support of the Second Amendment. It would have an effect on gun safety programs as the NRA is good at promoting those programs, but as to actual gun ownership and 2nd Amendment support, it would have zero effect.
