Trump's position since at least 2015 is to get rid of Roe & leave the rest up to the states.
This is great news, and a great accomplishment for DeSantis and the Florida legislature.

There should be a “hold fire” before any nomination for the Presidency is even considered. Ron DeSantis has a term as governor to be ongoing until January 2027, and he has plenty to do right here.
Governor DeSantis is not rigorously anti-abortion. If done early and under medical care, it is still acceptable. But thee is a much greater responsibility placed on those with the XX chromosome configuration to more carefully consider their actions. A menstrual period thirty days late ought to be a warning sign.

Which merely kicked it back to the states. Abortion on demand would still be legal in all 50 states if the STATES didn’t do something.

I applaud Ron’s.first step here. I want to see a total ban, but many lives will be saved. If DeSantis is better on Right to Life than Trump, I’ll need to ponder who I’ll vote for.
