The men who played “women” on the 60s-70s..the Monty Python bunch, Flip Wilson, Dame Edna..looked more like women than today’s Space Alien/Tammy Faye/Circus Freaks.
The cross dressing humor was just that. Humor. They weren’t shaking their junk in the faces of little kids. They weren’t out claiming that they are real women and must be treated as such as they prance around naked in from of little girls. This crop of perverts are sick.
For what purpose?
I was watching a youtube video a couple weeks ago that was talking about Aerosmith’s resurgence in the 80s... and they mentioned every single hit single from their 2 big albums at that time EXCEPT for “Dude Looks Like A Lady”. Not a word about it. Just pretended like it never existed.
Makes me wonder if Aerosmith or their record company will cave and remove it from future “greatest hits” compilations.
Has Dylan had his chopitoffame* yet?

That’s incredible. “Dude” will forever be linked, in my mind, to Aerosmith just because it’s so recognizable. What’s next? Will the Kinks’ “Lola” be stricken from the airwaves? We remember this stuff. Our kids won’t.
“Will the Kinks’ “Lola” be stricken from the airwaves?”
No, I think because “Lola” was always a bit more subversive in its take on the subject matter. So they’ll probably let that slide.
The fact that social radicals have been able to push so far so fast is disturbing evidence that our entire traditional framework of thinking and acting has been undermined by misfits and idiot politicians.
Mulvaney as a 'traditional male misfit"
Mulvaney pretending he's some'thing' else
