Yup. We will turn in to Cuba when it comes to ice cars.
However I can see what’s happening with diesel trucks in California happening with all ice cars and trucks nationwide.
They are refusing to allow registration. Sure you can own one. You just can’t use it.
I think even in CA existing diesel trucks will be grandfathered. Unless the rats pack the SC they won’t be able to render millions of existing vehicles not road legal. So yeah we will become Cuba.

So it looks like they can and have used diesel trucks 15 years old as the test waters. If they tried it with non diesel passenger cars sold in the last 10-12 years that is when it blows.
