On a legal note, does the extradition mandate in the Constitution apply to cities as well as states? This was a municipal court.
I am not a supporter of DeSantis, but the logic here the left is pushing on us is crazy. No matter what DeSantis does, he is attacked, he does one thing, or he does the opposite. The reality is, as governor of Florida, he is not really involved. But I have to say, the left has made it clear they hate him more than anyone else today.
No, I’m talking about innovation. It’s what the other side does all the time.
It is what they did to concoct this.
If extradition cannot be addressed head on, find another way. If as you say, this is an unassailable constitutional concrete pillar... explore another way. The states are absolutely not subordinate to the FedGov. Don’t confuse the Constitution with the FedGov.
The Constitution is a well thought out document and the law of the land. The FedGov is a collection of retards being dragged along by 10%. Believe me, I know.
How cute, you still think we have a working legal system. Time to wake up and realize what time it really is.
Rove works for Trump. At least in the last election. The reality is the (any)governor of a state has no way to resist an extradition, short of having that person arrested of a possible more serious crime.
Pence confused “tackle” with “embrace.”
Good on you Governor!
What extradition? Trump is not being extradited. Stop allowing the mainstream media to dupe you. Trump is not being extradicxted.
The FedGov is a collection of retards being dragged along by 10%. Believe me, I know.
Okay, but the Federal Government has nothing to do with this, and they are not involved.
The best way to end this is for Trump to have a skilled lawyer.
“FedGov has nothing to do with this”
Well hell, now I’m confused. I thought you brought it up!
XD XD
So DeSantis is going woke? There is no extradition, but no govern would have the ability to stop one.
All the GOP candidates need to drop out now and rally around Trump. Especially DeoSanctus.
There is one innovation DeSantis could try, but I wouldn’t recommend it. If Florida arrested Trump for a capital crime, and put him on trial, and convicted him, and gave him the death penalty. Then New York couldn’t get him. But Florida would need solid evidence, which they don’t have, and it would be hard to frame someone so high profile. But, hey, you wanted innovation.
How about people stop over-reacting to Democrat ploys and acting like they are real?
No, I never did.
The important thing is for Trump to be arrested on Tuesday. Then he will be vindicated.
