I have no idea, but I’m guessing as a male. If she was taking testosterone or was on SSRIs, either might have been a factor. This is speculation on my part.

Either way one sees your point. From the sound of it she, the mom, had gone full gonzo gun control, and was the catalyst for the girl going nuts/evil and totally messed up in the head.

This is a Question: After the local cops had finished their first press conference, some anonymous person, a woman, commandeered the lectern and microphone and started yammering about having just gotten back from DC where she'd been lobbying for gun control, etc ad nauseum. I heard this on the Clay and Buck show.

Did this anonymous person who acted out in such a self-important way happen to be the killer's mom, who didn't yet know that it was her own kid who was the killer?

So Norma Fort Hale is a raving gun control nut, but her mentally ill daughter got her hands on two guns. Where did she get them from, Norma? Are you a hypocrite and have guns, but you don’t want anyone else to have guns? Instead of being a member of an anti-gun group, you should have helped your daughter who was mentally ill.

In this case, don’t blame the guns, blame the shooter and her mother. The crazy mother supposedly had so much empathy for the parents of the Sandy Hook shooting that she became an anti-gun activist, when she should have been working to treat mental illness and stop the politicized hatred that is fueling these shootings. It didn’t sound as this mother had any remorse or sympathy for the families of her daughter’s victims.
