>>As Chris Rock said, there are blacks and then there are n_____s. And black people hate n_____s, too!<<
I believe this to be true. There are great black leaders such as Larry Elder, Dr. Carson, Thomas Sowell, Candice Owens to name a few.
Its got to be embarrassing for them to watch what is happening in the inner cities and the multitude of videos out there documenting black culture failure.
The racial aspect and political aspects are siamese twins that cannot be separated. Democrats would not be in office in many (most?) places without race-based voting and politics. The elected politicians naturally pander to those who put them in office. A significant portion of that group embraces the idea that the prevailing legal/law & order regimen was produced by the majority “white” culture, thus reflecting white values about crime, rather than their own.
Blacks don't have to specifically subscribe to the toxic "black culture" to contribute to the rot taking over decency in our country. They merely have to mindlessly pull the lever every time for whatever dimmocommie is running for office, particularly if they're black. They don't research who the candidate is, what they've done in the past, what issues they support--if they're D and especially if they're black, that's good enough. I met an otherwise nice black woman in the supermarket checkout line last night. I shared with her that a certain item was not available and chuckled, "Biden strikes again!" She asked me why Biden had anything to do with that item being unavailable. I was about to tell her about transportation problems due to gas prices, but she averred that the reason for the shortages was COVID and had NOTHING to do with Biden. She then kicked into high gear to hasten her way out of the store, rather than have her precious, if incorrect, MSNBC/CNN/NYT view challenged. I have found this pretty typical with conversations with blacks, with a few welcome exceptions. So how can you improve the quality of life in cities like Detroit and Baltimore if this is typical of the voting populace?
A tiny minority of Americans commit a majority of murders in America.
That tiny minority is young(ish) black men, in cities run by black democRAT politicians.
The democRATs don’t get a pass; they enact policies which encourage criminality in general and murder in particular.
Greenfield should be more direct. How about pointing out that 3 percent of Americans commit 50 percent of violent crimes?
No wait. Don’t do that. That would be racist.
The fact that the decent blacks sit back and do nothing is the problem. There are only like 3 I know of... Like Thomas sowell(sp?)...
That makes them all guilty in my book...
TLDR.
Take it a step further: What is the race and percentage thereof the majority?
That isn’t a race issue-we have plenty of people of all races who do just that and contributed to the problem. Heck, the number of whites who do just that far outnumber any blacks who do.
However, percentage is important too. The Left has been used to a monolithic block voting in their favor. I believe that percentage is trending downward, slightly.
I have, in my analysis in the past, looked at that figure. Black males make up around 6% of the population.
And while I have read that 70% of black males in an age range have a felony conviction, not all of those are for violent crimes. (the number isn’t 50% of violent crime, it is more like 40%, but that is using the definitions of violent crime at the FBI UCR Database (which anyone can access) which specifically defines it as murder, rape, armed robbery, assault and battery, etc. (It has been a while since I looked, I can’t remember, but there is some category of assault or battery, possibly involving use of a weapon the classifies it as a felony violent assault)
But still pretty bad.
My guess is the problem is even more stark: it is 1-2% of the population accounting for nearly 40% of the violent crime, which is damning.
Imagine if you live in a small village of 100 people, and 2 people were responsible for 40% of the violence? That wouldn’t last long, at least at some points in the past.
I have to disagree with you on that approach. We, as humans, categorize and that is what we do. It is in our nature. But I think you are casting too wide a net.
I think where we do agree is that solutions to this won’t come externally from the white community.
It has to begin with the black community. The question is, can it?
No it can’t and that is precisely why nothing is being done about it and everything is being done to excuse it!!
That is, I think, closer to the root of the problem. Until the people who live near the root of the problem understand that it is going to require action on their part to remedy the situation, the buck is going to get passed.
Legislators will throw legislation and wasted money at the problem to virtue signal, show how “down with the struggle” they are, and buy votes, but it won’t fix the problem.
What percentage of the US population lives in those counties?

“It’s a fig leaf. There is a discrete explanation for crime, but it has to do with race, not political party. Period. Full stop.”
Yep. Conservatives are so frightened of being called “racists” that they refuse to even mention that elephant in the room.
That word is one of the most powerful weapon the left has against us.
And WE give it that power by cowering at the mere mention of it.
Until we learn to embrace the insult, and thus disarm it, they’ll have us on the run.
That’s why I always say... where is Slobadon Milosevic when you need him!!??
That happens because democRat policies enable it.
Being called a “RACIST” means absolutely nothing to me, when EVERYTHING is RACIST, then nothing is RACIST!
When I am called a “RACIST”, I just look at that person and ask them; AND YOUR POINT IS?
Not entirely true.Murder is an IQ problem....not a race problem. The lower your IQ is the more likely it is that you’ll murder someone.
