Before Trump was deposed you’d have to consult the Old Testament to find such prospects for long term peace in the area.
The Trump years were, by and large, peaceful years. Things were moving in the right direction. Putin was behaving, etc.
Stolen elections have consequences, both home and abroad.
I said at the time of the coup, a tragedy for America, a catastrophe for the world. It’s amazing to watch the rapidity of the catastrophe being played out though.

Well said. Here’s a concern of mine. A weak, pitiful, corrupt leader like Biden just might over-react to show how “strong” he is. Trump had no need to do that. But with Biden, any bad thing is possible.
So if Biden should declare war on Russia tomorrow, I’d be sickened but not surprised.
Israel knows Hamas is a problem. Hamas benefits Israel by keeping the Palestinians divided into two camps so the “World Order” can’t force a Palestinian state of Israel.
As nasty as Hamas is, Hamas likely was helped by Israel to take over Gaza by Israel with Israel figuring it could contain Hamas and the violence of its rockets fired on Israel.
But Hamas is a nasty and determined lot the potential for Israeli civilian casualties very real.
But lets face it Iran with its Hezbollah rocket army in Lebanon to the north the greater threat to Israel not to mention the rocket arsenal of Iran itself and the nuclear potential of Iran.
Regarding Gaza, the home of Hamas: With each attack on Israel move the border inland a kilometer (or a fixed amount). Press Hamas inward, compress the cesspool, until the rat begins to bite off its own tail.
> I am getting the idea that countries don’t declare war anymore. I mean, what is the point? <
Well, at least in the United States we have a Constitution. We cannot go to war unless Congress formally declares war.
I kid, of course. We now live in the age of the imperial presidency. Presidents both D and R can go to war whenever they feel like it. The key is to just not call it a war. Call it a police action, a kinetic action, etc.
It’s amazing, in a very sad way.
I just realized something tremendous last week. My seventeen year old grandson, who does quite well managing a severe gluten allergy, has a medical draft deferment. They won’t get this one for the WWIII globalist conventional meat grinder. I don’t think either side will concede. There is very little escalatory room left before you have open ground warfare between NATO and Russia. That means the draft.

Yep. But who would show up at the draft center? Leftists hate the military. And conservatives know what’s really going on. No one would report. There would be massive civil disobedience.
Unless…Biden’s handlers arranged for a major false-flag incident. Something like another Pearl Harbor, something to get folks rallying around the flag again. I’d better stop typing now. I’m starting to depress myself.
No they don't. They just don't want it used to fight for the "wrong" side.
I think Israel’s strategic situation is terrible and getting worse by the year.
You are seeing the false flag war transpire before your very eyes. Once Putin is forced to strike at the NATO weapons staging areas inside NATO as DC escalates, we are eyeballs deep in a shooting world war. The same thing that happened in ‘41 would happen now. Leftists USED to hate war. On Ukraine, killing Putin and defeating the Russian military they now stand on the more radical militant side of John Bolton.
