Perfect....Diversity and Equity in REAL life. Not all of us get to fly in Air Force Two but many have flown the C-17.....DC-3, etc.

I heard she told the press that “the plane is a plane and its just like the other plane that is a plane so I have to get on the plane.”

Then she repeated herself, for clarity.

Well, now she’s been to Europe. How about the border, then?

It was a weird experience for the crew, as first they were told this trip was special because everyone was going to receive a nice little “hummer”. The mood turned sour when they found out VP Suck Machine was going to be the giver.

A REAL shame. I admired him, he was a smart guy, seemed open to all sides of the political spectrum, and his magazine, George, was first-rate, giving both conservative and liberal viewpoints equal expression, and always a fun read. Sure wish he was still around, and that we still had a political magazine like George.

Old times:
1) In 1996, Ron Brown, then-secretary of commerce in the Clinton administration, was killed, along with 34 others, all but two of them Americans, when their Air Force CT-43 plane crashed into a mountainside near Dubrovnik, Croatia. An Air Force inquiry blamed the crash on pilot error and a poorly designed landing approach.
Controversy included evidence he was shot in the head but a number of sources concluded he was not. However, no autopsy was done.

2) Dag Hammarskjöld (29 July 1905 – 18 September 1961) served as the second Secretary-General of the United Nations from April 1953 until his death in a plane crash in September 1961.

Allegation in several places including Foreign Policy.com
Who shot down Dag Hammarskjold?

Newly discovered documents revive claim that Dag Hammarskjold may have been killed by South African agents backed by the CIA.Feb 15, 2022

3) Aug., 1992 Clinton advisor and former campaign finance advistor who broke with him in a dispute. C. Victor Raiser was killed in a plane that crashed while flying on a sunny day in a clear blue sky.

Hmmm...
Almost another happy Ron Brown moment...
Those successful mechanics must have retired or died mysteriously by now...

Someone at the CIA screwed up. Her plane was supposed to crash starting WW III before anyone could find out the real facts.

You mean to tell me one of the most well-maintained airplanes in the entire world wasn’t able to fly?

I remember the toilets on a C-130 they were a chemical bucket basically with a small curtain that you could close like one of those old iron tub curtains that circled.

And you had a choice of either foamies or a headset with IC.

To avoid cackling the C17 flight crew probably did not tell veep about the IC headset option.

Yup, the C-17 is not built for creature comfort. I am sure she rode in the cockpit, however.
———-
They likely loaded a VIP “comfort pallet” on board the C-17. It’s kind of like a small, self contained tiny condo with amenities.

Ha! Flying via cargo plane now.

Yep. More comfortable than a C-130, but not exactly the luxury to which that cackler has become accustomed.
