from the videos i’ve seen, there was a circular connecting section between the balloon and the actual scaffold holding the instruments, and THAT, from what i’ve seen is where missile hit and detached the entire surveillance package
you can see it fall away...
i think that’s the interconnecting structure
but i can understand them not showing better pix 8^)
i just want to know they went down and got it

what bothers me is they had a rough idea where they were going to down the balloon, why the Navy wasn’t there circling the area wi ships and helos like in days of old when retrieving the capsules back in the day is beyond me
the whole thing stinks

It’s truly unbelievable. They’re not morons, though—they’re just evil.

Here is a documentary of what really happened at Area 51 in 1947.
The military released this to use as plausible deniability in the future.

Seems like it would have been more prudent to hit the balloon and leave the payload more intact for recovery. Not if your orders were to destroy the instrument package to cover up for the Chinese and the Chinese puppets in the White House.

The United States of America does not have the Industrial Base to fight another war. Nor the National Character or will.

Like everything these days.
But I’m sure their “shots” weren’t saline at all...
Nope. Not a chance.

Yep, that’s a popped balloon alright...

Certainly not a conventional one.
Biden’s Afghanistan pull-out debacle was beyond embarrassing...and pathetic...and deadly.

And ... they brought up 153 fish.
A triangular number. Really cool number.

I haven’t been able to find the full episode. Just bits here and there. Guess I’ll have to look again.

Now it costs 20 millions more to recover the water soaked and short circuited debris. Than a simple shoot down over land.
More taxpayer monies blown. They could give a *****

BBC America just started running the series. Maybe DVD it? I don’t think it is available any where else except Paramount+. S4-E7. Looks like Amazon will sell you the season for $30.
