Given they have never been seen to refill, any such activity would be 100 years+. And it’s not compounded.
But hell, you have already decided to buy. If you bid, say, $100,000, which would be the tiniest fraction of sales over the well’s lifetime to date, you’ll have the seller leap to say yes, because in your world there will be many well lifetimes of oil flow.
I can say with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that peak oil will be reached sometime between 1965 and 1971. And by the year 2000 the oil reserves of the world will be totally depleted, along with natural gas reserves.
