What’s the rationale for holding an open primary, anyway? It makes no sense to me, especially when you consider democrats have a long history of cheating and subverting to their advantage every institution they touch.
I don’t know what is wrong with Nancy Mace. She runs a good townhall meeting, seems to be a nice person, but she gets on national propaganda media and agrees with the propagandist against her base. She is weak, personally. She is now a purple representative, although she was elected by her red base. The SCGOPe is a RINO organization. Her past challenger, who almost beat her, lacked charisma. SC voters are in a bad way.

Living here in SC, I see it becoming more and more purple. It. It may be due to all the out of staters moving in.
During the last election, I went door to door introducing myself and asking if the new residents knew where polling places were, if they needed rides etc.
Nearly 2/3 of them said they intended to vote Democrat, same as the town/ State they left.
Nancy Mace reminds me of Nikki Haley. A RINO with future aspirations.
Wow. What part of SC do you live? I know there are certain areas (like Bluffton, where we're moving - from Connecticut) that are very rapidly growing. Everyone we've met in our new neighborhood so far (Sun City) is very conservative, like us.

RINO alert, these are the ones that are the real danger to the party.
Greenville area. There has been an huge influx coming in from states like Penn, NY and NJ.
Bluffton is is beautiful. Best to you re your move.
