“45 minutes later, the insane lone gunman was walking down a residential street, approached, talked to, and then killed a local cop/Army veteran.”

Even worse, Oswald supposedly went home. THEN got his 38, left home again on his walk where he killed the cop. THAT was E&E plan. Assassinate the president, walk home, get my 38, then walk … where? Where was he going?
He was meeting his CIA contact people at that theater, only they weren’t there. Then he knew… “I’m a patsy”.

Yeah, it’s Wikipedia.

She was doing some serious journalism RE JFK’s shooting.
I believe, but can’t swear to it without going back and doing the research, that she had confidential time with Jack Ruby and never revealed what he told her. The assumption being that it was coming in a book.

She did not fit the alcohol / barb profile history.

Just another one of those events that can’t be determined, but smells bad when taken with the big picture.

I stick with my statement on the Warren Commission.

He didn’t know yet. “On December 9, 1966, Ruby was admitted to the Parkland Hospital in Dallas, as he suffered from pneumonia. Doctors found that he had cancer in his liver, lungs, and brain. He died on January 3, 1967, due to a pulmonary embolism, secondary to lung cancer, at Parkland Hospital.”

Kilgallen's mysterious death must have been controversial even back in 1965, during America's age of relative innocence of the realities of our three-letter agencies. If the CIA is credibly implicated in JFK's assassination...

I enjoy watching YouTube's ancient "What's My Line?" episodes, in which Kilgallen was a panel member. That's what prompted me to read her wiki entry.

A more likely theory I heard was it was the mafia to demonstrate how powerful they had become. If that was the case it would make sense to cover it up.

We're supposed to believe Oswald, a guy who had direct high level contacts in Moscow and Havana, was then used by his Soviet bosses to assassinate the President of the United States? The Soviets would risk total destruction, nuclear war, just to kill Kennedy? You really buy that?

No because of the planning required.

However, that a committed marxist would take it upon himself to carry out such act should the opportunity present itself has to be carefully considered. Especially since Oswald already attempted to assassinate Gen Edwin Walker earlier in the year. So, upon learning that the president would be in town and that his motorcade would pass right by his place of work, Oswald took it upon himself to change history.

Oswald screwed up the narrative, you see, right after the assasination, Cronkite and company just *knew* it had to be a Right-Winger that killed Kennedy. And so when it came out that it was a Commie, all the conspiracy BS started.

Lee Harvey Oswald’s wife Marina was the niece of a high ranking colonel in Army intelligence I believe. It was very unusual for close relatives of these intelligence officers to be given permission to leave the USSR. I have often wondered why it was so easy for the Oswalds to leave?

I read a bio of her. She was a very smart and very driven girl. While her rep highlighted the “gossip” columns, she was also a real journalist. She was no lightweight. Light years ahead of what is today considered an investigative journalist.

The bio was a bit slanted in her favor, but clearly showed the woman had serious substance.

I do believe that her death was connected to her JFK assassination investigation.

My father was at the Pentagon when JFK was “elected” and served as a USMC “advisor” in Vietnam at the time of JFK’s assassination. My interpretation of some of what he said when he returned (I was 12) lead me to believe that JFK’s assassination was at least partly related to his intent to pull out of Vietnam.

JFK's widow lamented in her authorized book (now suppressed) over why JFK was killed by a communist rather than to have died honorably at the hands of a right winger.

I doubt he acted alone, but your conclusions are wrong. He wasn't using iron sights. He had a scope on the rifle.

The distance was only 88 yards. That's no big deal for even an average marksman.

The car was moving slowly (presidential motorcade) and a SS agent, Clint Hill, overtook the president's car on foot.

3 shots in 6 seconds. First round already chambered. Even an average marksman could easily chamber two more rounds in that time.

Plus, a man sized target. Even an average shooter could do it.
